Morning all. Been MIA for a few days. Got burgled in early hours New Year's Eve morning, came down at 4am and found window and back door open. They'd got window open and taken cash from mine and DD1 purses, my work phone and a NetBook, could have been so much worse! They walked past ipad and kids net books which are newer and had chargers with them

Just cross about Lappie as so much work on it, thank goodness have finished phd would have been stuck previously.

Police. We're here within 15 mins and sent forensics round at 9am for fling prints - was surprised but pleased.

Don't know if stand chance of getting back.

Even if insurance covers material losses doesn't cover the personal loss & the fact that someone has been in your home

That's interesting newbie1980! All my orders were cancelled and payment showing as 'pending' in my paypal account. I never got a despatched email - did you? I just wondered how you know there are two parcels at the store?
