Unfortunately changing the locks has no bearing. As joint tennant can turn up and change them again although must give a spare key to sitting tennant.

If alarmed then a good idea to change alarm code as hopefully the noise would be off putting. Until solicitors get underway then perfectly entitled to remove things from property although not allowed to dispose of them without permission from a judge. Removing things from property other than personal belongings is frowned upon.
Might be different if she is willing to give up her half of joint tennancy. Until she does so she is still liable for the whole of the rent and council tax.
