    Debt-free and Proud!
I had a weeny dalliance with John this morning too. Only spent £7.50 though :) it's a shame they aren't doing cashback as I actually remembered it this time!
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

I am still in my nightwear with John :D, it was a late night. :o

    Just spent over £50.

Thanks choirchick I could not resist a couple of hampers. :o Always wanted a nice big one. :T Not sure what occasion I will save it for....maybe wetting the baby's head. Or is that only a man thing. ;)

I am now dressed but still with John:D

Waivering over 2 of the cheaper hampers. £7.50 with a decent bottle of wine and a hamper basket for next year:)

    Seems a no brainier.

Just need to sort out where I can collect it from:)

    Aww fantastic news logie. :T

Still no news from DD1, well midwife visited couple hours ago and has given a 2nd sweep, and said she hoped her reputation followed and DD1 would not need to be induced. ;)

She did say lucky to be given 2nd one.

what have you spent £50 on please. + don't forget if you pick up in store you can get your cake and coffee :D
  • i know i will be in the minority with my view on this but surely the opening hours are enough at mo.the problem is shops will not take on extra staff to cover longer opening hours, the existing staff will probably have to change shifts and do longer hours on a sunday with little option to decline those hours.if the goverment go back on their word and change sunday trading there will be alot of unhappy shop staff.:(

i see what your saying , and have witnessed staff being made to pick up the longer opening hours i worked for william hill and when they decided to start opening late all the staffs rotas changed to do it but we were considered and asked by manger what nites suited best . i was also under the impresion that if for religious reason you couldnt work sunday you didnt have to maybe dreaming that but maybe not?

Happy New Thread ( thanks TM) ,
A Happy New Year to all money savers out there , I trust that you all enjoyed the time with your loved ones (as much as possible that is ..)

I've received a message on my new " smart phone for dull folk " kit , it originates from Snap who is perusing the aisles in Vans shop ,
she reports that advent calendars are as low as 14p , not bad for a sweet reminder of the month just gone plus a bit of chocolate and a great excuse to get out shopping .

    Happy 14 everyone .
