A massive THANK YOU!!! to all the Elite for your help and advice over the past year, you're all stars!
Well said.
Our cat is just the same, though he sits and looks at you soulfully until you cave in, or until he gives up and jumps up on you anyway. He's a rescue, second year with us and just settling in, he'll be camped out next to the oven on Christmas morning I'm sure.
Great news about Alan Turing's posthumous pardon.
It's the first I've heard about the pardon but that a genius he was:cool::T:T0 -

it compares at £8.50 against As now and at £7.50 against sains. You can still buy 4 bottles and get just short of £10 PP....works out at around £5.49 a bottle. A good price if you need decent fizz.......and let's face it, who doesn't?:D:rotfl:
my shop was targeted against As and that's why I lost a few quid
Thanks fairclaire. Was out last night and only catching up now. Sunshinemummy, if you look at the OP I was quoting they say the PP is exactly £10 which sounds right since mine was £9 and I lost £1 with the turkey. It compares to Sainsbobs. Mind you, MSL this morning shows ASDA price back at £6.50 so who knows what will happen today!0 -

Cakes look wonderful Logie. Mine is still to do. I make the royal icing then pass it over to DD to ice. Last year it was pink & green. Year before was a purple snow scene with every Xmas cake dec I have on the top. This year except it to be sprayed gold or silver.
Sprouts, cauli, carrots, parsnips & potatoes all done ready in the fridge. Trifle is next on my list.0 -
Me too
One up since 4, the other since 7, DH still snoring
That feeling of sick in the stomach getting up with a 4 still on the clock:eek::eek: ds1 was a killer in the summer saying "it's morning time at 4am:( because it was light:ospasguidedogs wrote: »3 teenagers still in bed, one will be up around 11am the other two will surface any time between 2 - 5pm.
