Morning all
Been up for hours  H woke screaming the house down at 4am and wouldn't settle back off. Oddly though DH didn't even stir :rotfl:
Got ahead of myself though. Gammon in slow cooker and put final decorations on Christmas cakes. Two small ones for Mum and MIL now gift wrapped too. Not too bad going before 8am
They are fab logie, they look too good to eat0 -

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve :xmassmile:xmassmile
A massive THANK YOU!!! to all the Elite for your help and advice over the past year, you're all stars!Did anyone else watch Gary Barlow in Afghanistan this evening on ITV? It reminds you and makes you appreciate the sacrifices that members of our armed forces make including being away from home for long periods - all the messages to their families alongside the music (when my wife and children are safely asleep upstairs and I will be with them over Christmas) was very touching.
And the news today of the loss of another soldier in Afghanistan reminds us of their ultimate sacrifice.
"When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today"
Sorry, not money saving but sometimes worth a reminder that their are other important things in life.

Well said.My spoilt dog is making little puff hurumph noises at me as I won't put my legs down for her to lie across. She has tried the scratching at me and I've said no, now she's snorting and sulking!
Our cat is just the same, though he sits and looks at you soulfully until you cave in, or until he gives up and jumps up on you anyway. He's a rescue, second year with us and just settling in, he'll be camped out next to the oven on Christmas morning I'm sure.
Great news about Alan Turing's posthumous pardon."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Do you know how many people posted how worried they were about you.Aren't you lucky to have so many caring people looking out for you? You can make it up to them by finding the next big gliche.:rotfl: Glad you are ok :T
Good morning all.
It was a wild night so stay safe when you are out. I am starting early so that I can finish early to go bargain hunting. Don't need anything but ...................
