Tbh although they have civil partnership and partner is definitely going and dd 2 thinks she is going if she's got to wait for partner to sort things out and get a job she'll have a long wait!
But if it happens I'll be visiting ! And paying for them to come back regularly.

Well i hope which ever way it works out they are happy and yes will be hard as not just down the road but you will have those lovely trips to look forward too xx

    Good morning all.

Have been delaying posting as I know TS is still awaiting a GC.

However I will share my happiness with you all today as I need to go back to work soon. Our 7th GC was scheduled for arrival today but she decided that Saturday would be a more appropriate day to arrive, mother and baby daughter both well and getting home today.:j:j:j

So if the gliche fairy is listening nappies for at least me and Tinyshoes.

SDown hope you feel better and look on 2014 as your year. X

    Congratulations mrsmac :)

I really feel for those f you with offspring in far flung places.

One of my mine lives 103 miles away and the other 83 - I've got findfriend. Ap on the iPad so when I miss them I can see if they where they are. My youngest flew the nest last May so 2014 is the first full year - its not even as if I can just jump on the train and go up for the day to see them as their work and social lives are very complicated - the eldest is going to be doing half weeks in London next year to make things even more complicated.
Eldest son has been away now for 3 months, due back in the UK sometime in April, won't even have a date to write on the calendar for a long while yet.
So this coming year we just have to keep very very busy and give OH lots of love - he misses them as well but blokes can't go out in the kitchen for a good blubber when it gets hard.
I also make sure I am in touch with them every day even if its just to send them an email with a joke in or a cat photo :T

  • Morning everyone :)

A warm welcome to the new arrival x

Look forward to hearing another announcement soon .....

    Beautiful people good morning
Sainsburys wins hands on Christmas sales this year. Tesco not reducing Christmas stock much.
    Christmas selection packs 30 pence
Tin of cookies 60 pence expire 2015
    Lots of toiletries heavily reduced
    Biscuits 70 pence a tin

    See ya all next year!!!!

Thank you :) This made me get my !!!! into gear and very glad I did  Fantastic bargains and plenty of stock. The tins of cookies are lovely, and I also got some of the McVities Classic biscuit boxes for 90p (the ones n the A 3 for £10) and the S own brand equivalent (which looks nicer) for 75p.

Lots of Xmas chocs and sweets heavily reduced so have sorted Easter :j:beer:

Also Xmas cakes/cake bars etc all 20p/30p, inlcuding Cadbury mint mini rolls, Baker Boys muffins etc. Stocked up for lunch boxes as longish dates to mid-end Feb.

Going to hit W next as their reductions are usually pretty good =- anyone been in yet?
