Anon, I know what you mean about pizza's and space, and I too, would buy on demand. Would have to really, as if it's A's it's on offer in, they would be defrosted by the time I got home anyway!

Hi all,
Word of warning - hold fire on the Netflix codes! Word is that hackers broke the algorithm they use to generate the codes and so anything you buy will likely be illegally generated. Although you won't get into trouble for buying it, Netflix could terminate your account at any point if they find you are using an unauthorised code.

Tbh although they have civil partnership and partner is definitely going and dd 2 thinks she is going if she's got to wait for partner to sort things out and get a job she'll have a long wait!

Job today is parcel up Amazon returns. Dd 2 announced on Christmas eve she nd her partner will be living in nz by next christmas and partner already has her ticket booked for 25 Feb. So no point giving them some of their presents when they busy selling things off so they can emigrate. Partner is from nz so knew it was coming especial y when rest of her family went back this year. But Dd 2 going to be left here for a while until things sorted. Don't want her to go at all

I'm certain that my DS1 will be living and working in the States once he's finished his MSc.

I'm not looking forward to that either. Yes, they have their own lives, you want them to do well, be happy, have more opportunities, but I can't imagine how much I'll miss him

So trying to make the absolute most of how often I see him now.

Just try to support your DD, even though you'll be sad inside, and be proud of their accomplishments and decisions.
