Following up on my story about the two greedy ladies on Xmas Eve the trout who usually causes me a problem came up to me yesterday to tell me what happened next. Apparently the manager told them they could have their trolley contents for the price they picked it up at but no further reductions. They had been in the shop for 2 hours with the stuff in their trolleys and at the last minute put it all back. It all had to be wasted as it had been out of the chiller for more than 20 mins. Now all reductions are being done out the back and then brought out. Seems fairer to me.
I have made a decision not to go woopsie shopping for a few weeks as the freezers are groanin with food. However I said that on Friday and lasted less than 24 hours. Only got 2 tubs reduced fruit salad today though and although Waitrose is still open I am resisting.
