  • Around 2 pm I was lucky enough to find the RL pony set in stock. 2 of these (female) plus 1 million and a mark somthing hairdryer plus a maclaren pushchair.
All items showed value but something strange went on with deductions. Had order not been cancelled I would have only paid value of pushchair.
    RL showing oos again now.
Something different going on to a couple of days ago so will be playing o mr shoes I think.
Strangely the RL went into basket at full price but red writing said up to 1/2price on fragrance as did pushchair and hairdryer.

Whatever fix mr shoes has put inplace has upset something else now. Just need replacement for RL.

In the T's Christmas mag with the turkey on the front, there's a coupon inside for 100 extra CC points for a £20 spend on giftcards. 3V cards are Visa cards that you can use online (can't be swiped instores like other visa cards though) and you get 150pts for a £50 spend on Visa cards. It depends on what kind of SA you get whether they'll allow the coupon with the 3V cards though but I managed to get quite a few which went through at 350pts a time. The extra points offer runs out 31st Dec but I got so many because I'm able to pay my rent with them.

    E.T.A I was buying 2 x £25 cards at a time. I did try 4 x £25 with 5 coupons but it didn't work for me.

    That is great Tweets

Eh waiter, excuse me a minute
I'm not findin' fault, but dear me
'taties is lovely and beef is alreit
But what sort of pudding can this be?

It's what? Yorkshire Puddin'? Now come come come,
    It's Yorkshire Puddin' yer say?
I'll grant yer it's some sort o' puddin', owd lad
But not THE Yorkshire Puddin', nay, nay.

Now reit Yorkshire Puddin's a poem in batter,
    T'mek it's an art, not a trade
So just listen t' me and I'll tell t' thee
How t' first Yorkshire puddin' were made

A young angel wi day off from 'eaven,
    Were flyin' abaht Ilkla Moor,
When t' angel, poor thing, got cramp in a wing
An' !!! down at an owd women's door

T' owd woman said "Eee - it's an angel.
By 'eck, I'm fair capped to see thee.
I've noan seen yan afore - but tha's welcome,
Come on in, an' I'll mash thi some tea."

T' angel said, "By gum, thank you kindly."
Though she only supped one mug o' tea,
She et two drippin' slices and one Sally Lunn.
Angel's eat very lightly yer see.

Then t'owd woman looked at clock sayin'
"Ey up, t'owd feller's back soon from t'mill.
You gerron wi' yer tea, but please excuse me,
As I'll atter mek puddin' fer Bill."

Then t' angel jumped up and said gie us it 'ere,
Flour, water, eggs, salt an' all,
An' I'll show thee 'ow we meks puddins,
Up in 'eaven for Saints Peter and Paul.

So t' angel took bowl and stuck a wing in,
    Stirring it round, whispering "Hush"
An' she tenderly ticked at t'mixture,
Like an artist ed paint wi a brush.

Then t'owd woman asked " 'ere wor is it then,
T'secret o' puddins made up above?"
"It's nowt i' flour or watta, said t'angel,
"Just mek sure that tha meks it wi' luv."

When it were done , she popped it i' t'oven,
"Gie it nobbut ten minutes", she said.
Then off t'angel flew, leavin' first Yorkshire Puddin',
    That ivver were properly med.

An' that why it melts in yer gob just like snow.
An' as light as a maiden's first kiss,
An' as soft as the fluff on t'breast of a puff,
    Not elephant's leather like this.

many thanks jelly - i am going to keep a copy of that. love it :)

Good afternoon everyone  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas - and if not then I hope 2014 brings many bargains and glitches :)

On a whim I decided to make up platter trays full of various meats, cheeses and even some grapes for all the family so nobody had to think of cooking on Boxing Day and they seem to have been more enthusiastically received than the Christmas meal did!

I'm sorry I couldn't contribute more over the past month but my internet was limited and hopefully now I'm not on a dongle I'll be able to yack a bit more :D

Emerald21 aren't you cold in that outfit?
Fantastic folder savingbabs, I've got something similar amongst all the stationery I've accumulated over the years so now know what to do with it :rotfl:

Just had a look at my CC points and have been doing the 3V card thing since the 100 extra points promotion started and now have £90 worth :j

Oh noooooo I had a warm glow ;):D
