I dont have alot of room and as said before but no stashes in the living room/dinning room, but i do have a spare bedroom that gets used for stash and fleabay, my shed gets used for loo rolls, washing liquid, softner, shampoos etc

Lol my coffee table has the T direct order on it at the moment still, just giving it a little more admiration before popping it into the spare room/office/Xmas pressie room:p But in my defence I had nothing left in the pressie box when I ordered the T direct stuff.

I can easily let a glitch go by..........

I don't see the point in huge stockpiles of everything - i don't want to shuffle into rooms because stockpiles take over.

I'm just not a hoarder. Often I think i'm on the wrong thread....

I hate to say it but I am starting to agree with you.It is beginning to get on my nerves, the piles of stuff,so I've started to give it away:o:o

The lamp is there through google and says stock coming soon (you cant add it). Hopefully worth checking but would guess if they get more they will fix it first!

Very good to have the mantra pointed out again Westvleteren!

The glitches I usually go for, are usually consumables and food. And only then if they really are a bargain! Any other glitches have to be able to be earmarked for presents through the year, and again, have to be really well priced. Either for myself, or for me to share with my family. I see no point, in wasting money (even if at a glitched price) on getting things that my family would find no real use for.

Apart from the grocery challenge, I set myself a yearly budget, broken down into various components, eg food, birthday presents, fuel, haircuts etc, and will soon be seeing if I'm under my yearly total. I keep a running totol of everything I spend, and have done so for the last 3 years. Add up the monthly totals, and Tuesday evening will be the yearly total.

Money is so very tight, no longer any child benefit, no tax credits, no pay rise for 4 years.

The longer you apply the MSE mantra, the more it becomes second nature.

You're not on the wrong thread at all Westvleteren, the glitches are part of it, but not all of it :)

I am going to be really good and keep a ledger of sort this year. I used to the last time we paid down the mortgage.

ME and him were discussing how little we lived on when the kids were wee and he was at colllege. I do not know how I managed it. I didnt coupon or whoopsie shop. I just really watched the pennies and we had several bootsales. Family were good at donating boot sale stuff then refusing their share.

Going to have college fees for the oldest to go to as he is repeating a lvel on a different course so this is the make everything count course

    xx
