    I can easily let a glitch go by..........

    I don't see the point in huge stockpiles of everything - i don't want to shuffle into rooms because stockpiles take over.

    I'm just not a hoarder. Often I think i'm on the wrong thread....

    Very good to have the mantra pointed out again Westvleteren!

    The glitches I usually go for, are usually consumables and food. And only then if they really are a bargain! Any other glitches have to be able to be earmarked for presents through the year, and again, have to be really well priced. Either for myself, or for me to share with my family. I see no point, in wasting money (even if at a glitched price) on getting things that my family would find no real use for.

    Apart from the grocery challenge, I set myself a yearly budget, broken down into various components, eg food, birthday presents, fuel, haircuts etc, and will soon be seeing if I'm under my yearly total. I keep a running totol of everything I spend, and have done so for the last 3 years. Add up the monthly totals, and Tuesday evening will be the yearly total.

    Money is so very tight, no longer any child benefit, no tax credits, no pay rise for 4 years.

    The longer you apply the MSE mantra, the more it becomes second nature.

    You're not on the wrong thread at all Westvleteren, the glitches are part of it, but not all of it :)

  • :rotfl: out of the mouth of babes (to those that don't know it's sort of a nickname I've had since a child as I kept muttering about purple things in my sleep, I still blame Emma).

    That is a relief, all I could thing of was you being covered in bruises!

    Something I said:D:D:D
    I'm mortgage free in 24 years and 6 months:eek::eek:

    no just the Ipad cover things. they were getting cheaper and cheaper !!

    My mortgage would have about the same if i just paid the instalments. But its rubbing me up the wrong way something terrible and Mr B is always on about it.

    SO its my mission.However he went in loft last night to lag pipes and there is a bit on roof needing fixed inside and he said only half loft insulated so be adding that to the pile. Was planning to fit bannister this week but that will have to wait.
