Thanks auu1 but just meant wouldn't bother posting re any charity bargains if that's how many peeps feel. I agree that peeps have different views but also not nice if you are Op when you post an offer - if you disagree don't post reply. Also I don't get to post many offers so
It wasn't just a point of view but an assumption by that poster about me by stating that ...
"if you really wanted to support the charity ... better to buy them full price" ...
how does this person know how many charity cards have been brought full price before, or how a person may also be supporting a charity? - that's what rankled.
Interesting what is acceptable and not acceptable on here tho. Its a genuine sale - have seen charity freebie shirts misuse etc (eczema shirts) hey ho. But useful to see another perspective I just meant I will side step it in future.
I have to disagree here as this is a moneysaving discussion forum
The fact that the person you have issue with asked the question in the first place gave you and others the chance to respond to a viewpoint you hadn't considered.Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Ah auu1 -discussion - yes and no ...:) . Think it was the personal use of "if you really want to" rather than "if people really want to". Anyhow enough I know but thank you though

I know, I get it.
It could be argued that although they said "you" they were addressing anyone who was reading the thread. Who can say for certain?
it's hard to read tone in the written word, even harder when it's a poster you don't interact with. Chin up, loads of people on that thread (and undoubtedly on this one now) are appreciative of you bringing it to their attention :beer:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
