  • Did an airport run this morning, for some friends who were flying off to more tropical temperatures. That was my good deed for the day.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing (our big family get-together is always Boxing Day), but did find the energy to make a veggie wellington (using Mr T puff pastry of course:)) for Xmas dinner.

There's some left over, for the freezer ... if I can find any room.

I hope you all had a lovely day today:xmassmile

We had at least enough food to feed another 8 with some left over thats after most had seconds :rotfl:.
Guess thats me not doing much cooking for a day or two.
Turkey and allsorts pie tomorrow :T
If I ever win some money I want a double oven and gas rings that all output the same heat preferably 6 or 8 of them :D.

    Good evening :)

Hope you have all had a wonderful day. All my guests (except the one that's staying over) have gone home. Stuffed and happy I think. My neighbour that came for dinner gave me a rather lovely bottle of bubbles so I might open it now that it's all quiet. I can't cope with drinking in the day so didn't partake at dinner :A:rotfl:

    Cheers
  • Evening all

Hope you have had an enjoyable day.

Son in law cooked a wonderful lunch and we had a lovely afternoon.
I put dgd to bed midway through lunch as it was later than her normal lunchtime and we had a job waking her up again. She took one look at all the presents under tree and shook her head and burst into tears.
Think she had had enough with the early morning presents. Lol

Pleased to report my dad thoroughly enjoyed his day although all facebook talk of it is banned so he can wind my sister up when she gets back from skiing.
Mind you he did have the best part of a bottle of Lanson and that would make me happy too. Dd sent him home with a roast on a plate for tomorrow and sandwiches and cake for his tea.

Called in to see ds2 on way back and had nice chat with ex husband and his wife
And had a nice chat and cuppa.
    Be back after downton.

. I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back :)

May the odds be ever in your favour;)
