Brilliant il make sure to put that in my letter too then.
Think im gona go along the libes of explaining how the mistake came about and that I know its fully my own fault but that I have asked to 0ay it back several timea and their making it impossible for me thus meaning I have a damaging unsettled default for the nezt 6 years.
And that I didnt want to involve the FOS but that if they dont allow me to settle the default then I will have no choice but to involve them?0 -
Wrote to HSBC last week explaining the saga and saying i would like to pay off the defaulted amount and have it satisfied on my credit report. Not heard anything back as of yet but fingers crossed for a positive resolution! If the case is that the debt has been sold on will they tell me who I need to contact to pay it back? As obviously it will be registered in my old address as I defaulted before giving them my new address.0
