Cold Shower

Hi
I have a rainfall shower but lately the water in it has started coming cold, I mean its just not hot like it used to be till about 5-6 weeks back. If i open a tap next to it its absolutely hot, cant put hands for more than a second under flowing water but shower is really not that hot. Is it coz its mixing it up with a lot of cold water? Is there a way we can control this coz I tried putting the water flow to completely hot too but the problem remains the same.
Any recommendations please.
