Spent yesterday eve doing as many surveys as I could find, lol, signed up for 4 mystery shops, they're not very plentiful her as I live in a small town-that was all there was! Also had a read of the avon thread, i already do avon but could make more of it. Also signed up for qmee and clicksnap & the like, which I only just discovered.

  • Can I come back please? Failed spectacularly at this last year, but have reworked my debt-free date, and got specific on what I need to clear each mon - which is £150 more than I have available, so £5 a day would help me reach that!

And I just got the email saying free listing until 5th Jan! Since I can't go to the sales shopping, am going to start clearing out!

    Hi there

Last month was my first month of this challenge and it went really well.

However, January's usually a pretty hard month so I would like to go for a total of £100 for the month. This breaks down to a far more reasonable sounding £3.22 per day so that's what I'll be aiming for.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to achieve this. I've had a few really good quality items running on EBay at what are really very cheap starting prices. Unfortunately there's been no interest at all. This is the first time I've tried to sell men's coats/jackets - finally persuaded son to clear out his wardrobe. I'm wondering if men's stuff just doesn't sell so well. I've nothing else sellable so EBay's probably a non-starter this month.

Hopefully, surveys, mystery shopping, nectar points and road kill will help to fill the gap but I'll have to keep my eyes open for any other (legal) money-making opportunities if I'm to make my target.

    Good luck to everyone.

Hi, if not selling on ebay, try gumtree, mumsnet, netmums, facebook selling pages, etc. mine often has coats that sell well.

do you have a smartphone with data? maybe load one of the apps below in the second or third post?
