Well done on the wedding venue booking emmaglet! Blog sounds interesting too so good luck with that.
Loving the returning cat storys too. Would love a cat but DH is a meanie and won't let me have one.
Anyhow, just added a tiny £4 to my pot from savings made not buying lunch in work for the past 2 days. Also adding £4 saved on shampoo / conditioner as was sent some to product test today.
I really need to get ebaying, I want to get rid of some toys and clothes but selling prices are quite a lot less than usual at the minute (not sure if demand or fact it is Jan) so I don't know whether to just bite the bullet and get rid now or wait until end of month to see if will fetch a little more.
Thanks for posting the 52 week money challenge Aesop. Looks like a great idea and I may have a go. If you don't try then you never know.......!0 -

Hi all, not been keeping up, sorry.
Not got much hard cash yet but some should be forthcoming later in the month.
I've finally reached the £50 payout from New Vista, it says that payment is due this month, does anyone know what date they pay?
Have closed some old accounts that had bits in - £44 total
Bagged up some copper and paid that in £5
£20 cheque from last avon order, counting it now as only just paid in...
£26.75 pending from mystery shops
Am still collecting for this avon campaign, so not sure of final profit yet. Will have another delivery before end of Jan too...
Some stuff listed on ebay but doesn't seem to be much interest, may try facebook if it doesn't go...
So £69 actually paid in to date, must do better!

Hi all, #92 checking in.
I just got a £110 payment from a guest whose been staying this week - decided I will only count this when it arrives in my account, which is now.
There is one more booked to come soon but for a much shorter time.
I am no longer a Ebay virgin and have 4 items listed there now, finishing Sunday. Lots of watchers on one thing I thought barely worth listing!
I will be looking into ways to gain income from books and CD's as we have a lot of the former I could probably bare to part with and a small stack of the latter that havent been touched in 2 years.
I also have some overtime planned at work - had to ask them to bend the rules as technically I shouldn't have been able to work it (too senior a grade now to get overtime) but there are some extenuating circs so I thought it was worth trying! And they said yes. It may grow into a occasional thing possibly.
Just remembered a £20 cheque for xmas that arrived recently
So far £130 / £310(or currently 4 days ahead of myself)
