Hi, better late than never! May I join as a newbie please for £5 per day. I've been lurking on here for a few weeks and am amazed at what can be achieved by you all.
I've just de-cluttered two book cases with help from DS & DH, so off to find a couple of websites who may hopefully buy a few. I've seen "We buy books" and I'll also try amazon. Any other recommendations?

    Hi All,

Had a good couple of days and can report a total of £72.20 which is made up as follows:

    £5 lottery win
    £10 M&S voucher - late Christmas pressie
£7.20 price match and multi buy savings
£50 winnings from Premiership prediction Christmas Bonanza game at work :j

I'm also in the process of selling yet more of my books on Webuybooks and Ziffit. Have to check who is offering the best price and choose the best one for each book taking into account that Webuybooks usually have a 10% offer code on Facebook and Twitter.

One of my targets for 2014 is to finish the decluttering of the house. I have decided to start room by room from the top down. My loft is almost empty. Just a couple of old dining chairs that I want to upcycle and an old standard lamp I think. That sounds good but most of the lofts former contents are in boxes in the 2 spare bedrooms waiting for the final sort through :rotfl:

I am going to start with our bedroom first while OH relays the flooring in the loft. Hopefully this will give me some items to sell on eBay over the weekend as its still free listing :j

Hope everyone has a great money making month. I know I desperately need one after Christmas

Just sold a handbag on ebay for £54.89.
Strangely £54 was paid into my paypal account but the balance was only showing at £52.82
Does anyone have any idea what might have happened to the missing £2.07????
Adding this to my total to give me:
    Total now £158.47!!!

Remember it is free listing on ebay for auctions any start price so it is a good time to list any high value items. xxx

please read T and C carefully before doing this. it is not an old bic pen. you have to buy a pack of 10 promotional pens, with the promotion on the cover. you need to keep your receipt and send with your empty pen. it must be one of the promotion pens and you cannot send for one month after purchase........always read t and c on competitions.

Sorry I only just spotted this reply. The pens are on offer in Sainsbury's for £1.49 so fiance is going to pick some up before he starts work tonight. IIRC (laptop is too slow to load anything right now) I have until May (or March...some month that begins with M) to get it sent in. Sounds like £8 profit to me, £7 if the pack isn't half price.

Really impressed by those that have made a good start already! Just adding £6.44 from an ebay sale after fees. Have got quite a few old cd's and books cluttering up the place that I simply want rid off so will invetigate webuybooks and the like. Most only seem to be going for 25p though, but looking at ebay it seems that a lot of CD's sell for 99p or less anyway so by the time you take into account fees and packaging you are barely any better off.

Munching my way through chocolate this evening on the premise that it will be gone so I will be ready to start the "healthy eating" plan on Monday!!

Will also have nose for any decent cashback offers on quidco etc. Been a good while since I have done swagbucks........how are you all finding it? Is it still worth doing?

Have a good evening folks
