    Happy New Year everyone
  • Happy New Year!

Well I am off the starting blocks...

Found £10.00 I thought I had lost over Christmas (it was a gift from my neighbour) - I misplaced it and put it in my purse where it seemingly got swallowed and hidden inside a pocket I rarely use. Was so pleased to find it as I had resigned myself to the fact it had gone.

Tidied around the house collecting any loose change I could find. Also went for a walk and found 5 pence in roadkill, all in all this amounted to £5.37! Bagged it all up and put it in my moneybox where I will keep money I make in this challenge.

    So total on day 1 = £15.37/£155.00!:T

  • Happy New Year all!!

Good start to the month - made just over £13 on eBay.
Though if anyone can explain the paypal fees to me please?? I read that its 3.4% plus 20p per month, but I can't see how it's doing this - full amount comes into my account, but balance reads less (and not obviously 3% less!). Is there somewhere I can click to show whats its taking per transaction or something?

Happy New Year to everyone! Here's to a prosperous very cheap Christmas 2014, debts cleared, savings made, new homes bought, cars bought, and everything else that people are dreaming of :)

I have updated all the challengers to date. Can we make it 100 challengers this month? Anyone feeling to shy to join in and lurking, we don't bite honest!

Going to set some mini challenges I think after reading all the posts and people needing a kick up the whatsit ;):p

A big :hello: to old challengers coming back, the newest challengers and to the challengers who are still on the journey. I am addicted, are you?

It's per transaction, not per month. So the net fees you see as part of your balance are reflecting the 20p per transaction plus 3.4%.

    Hopless,

    Hopless, as requested SOA calculator

    http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php

for those who don't know what an SOA calculator is, it is a Statement of Affairs that helps you to realise your income, outgoings and what is due to others. it can be a huge shock but can be very helpful on realising what you can cut back on, change or trim.

oh and about other cashback sites, there is iMutual, and i like to check nectar, swagbucks, and other sites I am signed up to, to see who is offering highest cashback for what I want to do ;)

    there's this one

    http://www.cashbackers.com/

referrals to sign up through can be found on referral thread ;)
