Manchester Airport long stay parking & Hotel

Hi
Does any one know of any Manchester airport deals when two of us wrinklies fly to Florida and stay for two months.

I am looking to stay one night mid week early January in hotel at or close to airport and park the car for 8 weeks at hotel or somewhere very convenient.

Cheapest I can find through Holiday Extras is about £209, would it be cheaper to get the train/taxi transfer to the airport?

Taxi is about £350 return and I cannot get a one way car hire from the wonderful but limited services in the western lake district.

I can park at the airport for about £150.00 and stay at such as Premier Inn or Bewleys hotel about £90 to £110.00 for room evening meal and possibly breakfast.

But would welcome a far better deal.

When we flew from London recently on holiday, we got fairly cheap fares despite only booking about 3 weeks in advance. Have you considered this? Is there a railway station near you?

If you're thinking you don't want to lug your suitcases on the train, there are companies who will collect your luggage from your home and take it to the airport. Not sure how much that will cost though.

Yes a handy railway station but 2 x changes on outward journey and 4 hours wait plus changes on return date so not very convenient.

I have used Skypark Secure to book our airport parking at Manchester (and liverpool) several times and always got a decent deal. They compare prices for both on site and off site parking and also give cashback via Quidco / Topcashback too. We usually booked for off site parking and park at one of the car parks on Styal Road through them, but last time it was only a few pounds more to book Meet and Greet parking with them and was a lot easier.
Their cheapest offsite is £94 for two months at the moment offsite and £114 meet and greet (I looked Jan-Mar) but then there would be cashback too.
For hotels try Premier Inn, Bewleys or the Manchester Airport Lodge which is the former travelodge as they usually have good deals. The Hilton can also have some decent deals. Premier Inn is showing at £50 on Skypark at the minute but obviously depends on dates.

Maybe worth looking at driving to Lancaster, parking there and using the train to the airport?
I think they go direct from there so you can time it to minimise waiting etc.

Why not give Shentons/Peacock farm a call and get a quote for he car parking from them ? We have used them for over 20 yrs and have always had good service. Maybe stay at Bewleys and get a meal in the bar at night.
