I drive with headlights most of the year. But then I live in the country where there are no street lights

    My car is white
  • Black cars are the favourite of young men, especially VW Golfs. nearly every black VW Golf I see is speeding ! the fashion for the jumped up show off now is white, especially females in BMW s, bought on the tick, they never own them, it matches their equally look- at me- bottle blonde hair. The worst of the lot are garish yellow cars , hot hatches, nearly always the owners are adolescents , also mostly speeding

My white car is a BMW and I'm a gray old doll of 50 :)
  • Slightly off-topic, but does anyone else think that some headlights are more dazzling than they used to be? Or am I just getting old?

Definitely, dazzling in the extreme. High intensity discharge headlights I think they are called, only fitted to pricey cars at moment. HID torches are available for cyclists to use if you want to dish something back to an ignorant driver not dipping for you on a bike at night

It will be quite a pyrrhic victory when the driver is temporarily blinded, hits the cyclist, and smears them over the road.
