Car Insurance

Car Insurance - anyone got any suggestions of companies to try?

Have done the moneysupermarket, confused.com and comparethemarket thing - and have looked at quidco.

Get a yellow pages and call as many 0800 no's as your patience allows you. Can't really recommend any co over another as there are too many variables to consider. i.e A co might quote well for me but could be over your budget. You have to phone around IMO to get yourself the best deal.

Direct Line have always been cheapest for me - and I check every year - but they do not participate in any of the price comparison sites. They are good if you have a mid-range car and full no claims.

    Hi

I had my renewal come in at £390.00, after using the price comparison sites; RAC came out at £86.00 cheaper, I called my insurance company, they refused to price match, said they could knock £20.00 but that would be it, guess who I went with.

    Try Esure.

The cheapest by miles for me - and great customer service.
