Why have you collected them and not disposed of them as you upgraded?
You need a hell of a lot of upgrades to get 31 phones!

Yes, I'm not coming from a country full of bureaucracy in these kind of things, so maybe the UK likes to trouble people but not where I come from with these phones.
Air safety has nothing to do with bureaucracy and everything to do with ensuring aircrafts and passengers are protected and safe.
I would have thought that was also the case in slapdash countries.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

One of my most hated remarks... The UK is not perfect and foreigners (assuming he is) have every right to criticise aspects of it without being told to get out or not bother coming. If I was to exclude myself from every country that does something I disagree with, I'd currently be floating in international waters...

Not that they were really criticising the UK anyway - they just misunderstood why having a suitcase full of phones would be viewed as suspicious, and thought it may be bureaucracy as opposed to safety concerns.

    Thank you for the understanding.

There is no option for that.
    I wish there was.

Okay, I counted the imptt phones that I want to bring with me, and I'm flying with my wife.

Together, the number of phones is exactly 31, so I can take 16 and she can take 15 ... this way it's under the 430 allowance, but question is if this is called "business import" or not? Are we on a thin line here?

Your first post said 100 pieces, I think in this post you are getting muddled between pieces and value of 430 euros

As you are going to sell them it's a business import. 100% no room for doubt. Claiming they are for your own use or to 'give' to friends is wholly implausible.
