We eat what ever I can get cheap. That leads to a lot of variety but also a lot of repitition. We have had pigeon, veal and allsorts of fruit and vegetables.
The repetition comes from using things up in as many main meals as we can.£36/£240

yes I do try to introduce a new recipe now and again. Aldi are good for this as you can try something new for little cost - which is why I know now OH and I like Ostrich Steaks and Venison (both of these are horrendously expensive in restaurants). We try anything they have in that's new and strange to us - we think its fun!0

Like everyone I have my favourite recipes but I'll try whatever's on offer/on the menu whenever I can. Many years ago I took my then 14 and 12 y/o girls and 2 y/o son to Morocco and unfortunately sat next to a family in the hotel dining room who constantly bemoaned the fact that they had 13/12/11/10 etc days of foreign stuff. We wondered why they didn't go to Blackpool or Bognor? My three were brought up to try everything, if they didn't like it fair enough but at least they tried, and we all have a very great interest in the food wherever we go. Now I have recipe books from all over the world and will happily have a go at whatever takes my fancy.0
