Thanks for all the replies. I talked to my brother and he has suggested building one.
I'd love to see him spec you individual parts and build any PC that's £149 (like the one I linked)..
For a basic home/office PC which requires nothing special, you would be a fool to spend any more money than you need to.

That looked like a stonking deal to me too. Only downer is the need for an operating system if you don't have a spare Win 7 or don't like Linux.0

That's a good deal for the price. Although I never understand why they bundle these with FreeDOS, why not just put Ubuntu or Linux Mint and then people have a fully functioning operating system out of the box, which they can always overwrite with Windows if they want.If you want an absolute stonking deal and you're happy to obtain your own copy of Windows get this for £149..
