This computer talk is driving me nuts.:j
Memory was something you lost with age.
An application was something you completed when looking for a job.
A programme was a TV show.
A cursor was someone who used foul language.
A keyboard was a piano.
A web was a spider’s home.
A virus was the Flu.
A CD was something written on your bank statement if you were in credit.
A hard drive was a long car journey.
A mouse pad was the home of a mouse.
And if you had a 3.5 inch floppy, you just hoped no-one found out about it.……..
:rotfl:
Now come on you lot and stop laughing.
Get back to the serious subject of saving money.
Merry Christmas.

Mainly making it for the manufacturesrs like IBM.
As a management tool in industry maybe 40 yrs and to enable people to do a job maybe just over 30. but for the www was only just getting going 20 years ago.
But I think the OP should take a tablet after all those cupcakes donuts kitkats and jelly beansThe only thing that is constant is change.0 -
Unfortunately the original that I saw had an explicit drawing of a ‘3.5 floppy’, but I thought my edited version would give us a laugh.

I think that may be a tiny clue as to how old the joke is.
Indeed, although I always think my Crucial m4 2.5-inch SSD sounds like something best avoided too. Even worse, I recently had to flash it after it started to cease working after an hour of use0 -
