Lost all my emails

I have been given an ipad as an early Christmas present. So I set it up to pick up my emails from my Sky.com account ( Yahoo) thinking that it would only pick up future emails. However it downloaded all my emails since Sky changed over to Yahoo in April this year ( over 3000), GRRR !

I normally access these emails on my laptop (windows livemail) ...deleting those which are of little interest and keeping my inbox clean. They all remain in my Sky email account which I use as a backup folder.

So I deleted all the emails which had been picked up on the ipad except a few which I needed.

HOWEVER..... when I logged into my Sky.com account on my laptop it has also deleted every email in my inbox, all 3000 which includes some important ones which I really would not like to loose...... Is there anything I can do to recover these? I have run Recuva on the laptop and it has found 90000, going back years but when I open them a lot are empty or corrupted.

What is my best course of action please?
