Is my Dampshield warranty valid

Hi - I bought a house and the sellers gave me a 30 year damp course warranty certificate. Reading small print, it says I need the Survey and proof of payment to be able to make a claim. As the house has changed hands twice in last 10 years, I do not have these documents. Do I stand a chance to enforce this warranty. Thanks so much in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
Are you sure the firm are still in business - under the same name?
Was the guarantee backed by a reputable insurance company? This might give you some hope:

It is not at all unusual for firms in that line of business to give a xx year guarantee and go bankrupt or cease trading after a few years. They then open up a new firm and start again.
I would firstly make some enquiries with the local Trading Standards Office; but I suspect you have little chance of getting any guarantee honoured.0
