Thermo blinds

Hi I have just had a quote for some thermo blinds which are not cheap to say the least from a company called thomas sanderson I was wondering if anyone on here had had them fitted and was it worth the while. They would have covered a small conservatory at the rear mainly for privacy more than anything else but at just under £900.00 it seems a bit excessive, but maybe I am wrong
Any got them and do they reeally help keep a conservatory warm ???

I would be interested in that too, having just moved to a property with a conservatory. Hope someone can help.

They will never keep the conservatory warm, that's not how they work. They do help in summer to shield you from the direct sun - the heat from the sun still passes through the glass, but you don't feel so hot if the sun isn't directly on you. But they will actually prevent beneficial heat from the sun in winter if you use them, so could actually make it colder!
