Generic Host Process For Win32

After i boot up my computer and log in after about 1-5 mins i get an error message saying Generuc Host Process For Win32 and need to close ect.it Stops my sound working until i reboot my computer.

have you tried using Ccleaner to get rid of your temp files ??

I use it everyday doesn't make any difference

Start - Run - type sfc /scannow - OK and have your Windows XP CD ready.

That wont mess up my windows updates re installing them all?

No, it takes into account any files updated by Windows Update, and uses those if they supersede the same file on the CD.
