Recalling overdrafts

It's your best hope of getting what you need I think.:beer:0

I want to try to get them to remove or change the date of the default but I can't do that until it's SB. 6.5 years of this now it's been a nightmare.0

When is the default date then?:beer:0

Overdrafts have no contractual repayments. Providing the lender renews the facility (normally annually). The account remains open. Irrespective of activity levels.0 -

It will have been 6 years this August. The hope I have of getting them to remove it is they placed the default 12/13 months after I went into an unplanned overdraft. If I can get them to reset to default date to 6 months earlier I'll be very happy.0 -

Under usual circumstances it is clear that its 6 years from the date they recalled the overdraft but I went into an unauthorised overdraft and never made any payments after that. The T&C's suggest that when you go into an unauthorised overdraft they can demand full repayment if it is not corrected in time and therefore it would be 6 years from the date you missed the repayment of the unplanned overdraft.
I've also been told that even under normal circumstances SB is accepted on overdrafts 6 years after last payment not 6 years after it was recalled. I'm not sure if this is 100% true but I've yet to find anyone saying they was refused SB status on an overdraft debt over 6 years after last payment.0 -

August 2014 til it drops off?
Issue is, if they refuse, you can take to FOS, which may well take yo then anyhow.
SAR would take 40 days too.
All that with the SB issue, it's not looking great:beer:0 -
I know, it's so complicated. I was thinking of making my complaint about it through the FOS as they say you can do that on their website. But someone else has said that maybe that will count as an acknowledgement...0
