Did you buy from Amazon.co.uk
or Amazon .com ?0 -
not necessarily, if the charger you have for another device is same amperage, then your fine.
Or cheaper to buy a travel adapterMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Yeah, it's from the UK site :P
He tells me that tablets come with a 7 or 10W charger, and mobiles, kindles etc. come with 5W. Apparently this is why it charges much slower but at least it'll still charge lol
I guess this is more of a personal annoyance as it's the fact they're shipping US devices at all that's annoying me. Mainly as I emailed them a week or two ago to ask if they were expecting more tablets in stock as they had an estimated 1 - 2 month dispatch estimate and the Marketplace sellers were offering US devices.0 -
My Nexus 7 came with both but the way it was packaged I had to hunt for the UK connector.0

There should be a UK adapter in the box - if not get them to send you one FOC.0

Are you sure that you have not realised that the "plug" is a UK one - the earth pin slides down to the normal position.....0 -

I'm an idiot. There was a bit of tape hiding a "push" instruction. Damn, this is embarrassing, I put PCs together at 16 but can't operate a plug lmao
on the plus side, my tech loving mate didn't click on either.
Thanks! Not sure how to lock/delete threads on here. Barely use the site.0 -
