Every time i boot my computer i get Ssiefr.ex come on on a blue screen saying something like auto check cannot be complete i have had it for awhile but have not done anything about it.

go into regedit (Start, then run, then Regedit, then ok)

It may be starting up here, Delete everything after the asterisk character:

look in Regedit for this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\BootExec ute

Old data: autocheck autochk * ssiefr.exe

New data: autocheck autochk
