my dd has had a letter to go on a shool trip with the school to a zoo
at the bottom of the letter,it says
i give permision for my son/daughter to go to the zoo at there own risk, the council will not be responsible for them
so,who is going to be responsible for my dd,is this s new thing as i have never seen it on school trips forms before

I would guess that it is going to be a fairly standard clause, to prevent the council being sued when one of the little darlings decides to climb into the lion pit.
the teachers will be supervising them, but not responsible for them.0 -
You cannot sign away your right to sue for personal injury, I don't think the clause has any legal force. The council should not be putting in clauses that have no legal force and you should take it up with the council's legal department.0
