from monday bradford a bingley will launch a 1 year bond paying 6.45%, with a minimum deposit of 1k.

"but" their maybe savers who have funds with bradford and bingley who would rather take 0.05% gross less than halifax rate than lose interest moving funds from one provider to another, and/or have shares in bradford and bingley and rather support that institution.
in addition bradford and bingley 1 year fixed rate of 6.45% may not be ( not seen product info) confined to web applications whereas halifax 1 year fixed rate of 6.50% is called " web saver"0 -
How is money transfered into bonds is it by cheque or can you use the DD method, say if you have an esaver account with the said provider any quicker ways0
