parking fine from smart parking ltd

Hello all

I've had a parking fine come through the post with 2 photos of my car entering & leaving from 'smart parking Ltd's for being over the free time at asda Tamworth, but it accured on a Sunday well after openin hours, I've just tried calling them to appeal it, but they say you can only appeal in writing, so I've done that and awaiting reply. i dont mind paying But I've been told numouruos times to just ignore it as they aren't on the level, so I wanted to get advice from people who have actually dealt with them before. am I in the right or wrong?

if you are in E+W you should not be ignoring a pcn or NTK

check the sticky thread called NEWBIES READ THIS at the top of this forum, that thread tells you all you need to know

We are saying read the 'newbies' sticky thread (near the top of the forum with the word STICKY next to it) to learn how to appeal this, as ignoring it is NOT current advice. So you need to read 'How to win at POPLA' if you want to win this, and that is in the NEWBIES sticky thread.

I said ignoring is a bad idea, and you should read the newbies thread that has everything you need to deal with parking charge notices, debt recovery and other details too

its my opinion that Tamworth is in England + Wales , so ignore is not relevant here
