Switching from N Power

Can anybody try to give me some idea how long it takes N Power to refund you any credit after you switch ?
I filled out the U Switch to change on the 23rd Oct, Scottish power finally took over on 2nd Dec.
N Power electric didn't take a payment on the first payday after I switched, but gas did. When I tried to call them the wait time was through the roof.
I'm guessing they have to send some sort of final balance statement, though experience tells me it won't be so simple.

From past experience it has been 7-8 weeks before having any credit refunded...... you may be luckier but I wouldn't bank on it !0
