Hi,
I have bought the kids Ipods for christmas and was wondering what is the best option with regards to Itunes etc. They won't all want the same apps and media on there so is there an idiot proof way to split them and do I need to set them all up an Itunes account?
Thanks

Personally I have seperate itunes accounts for different devices.
I have my own itunes account for my ipad and iphone. A different itunes account for my partners ipad and sons ipod until he lost it.
All of the same stuff is on the itunes library, but I have unchecked everything that I don't want to automatically sync when I connect a device, things such as music, apps, etc. I then tick what I do want to sync for each particular device.
Also, I can facetime my ipad, from my iphone, which have the same itunes account. I just have my itunes email address saved as a contact in my phone and dial that, it rings the ipad, and vice versa.
You may want to check the settings on imessages too, because you might not want messages sent to certain devices.0 -
Hi
We have one PC at home and connect 2 iphones and 2 ipod touches to it.
We all have our own apple ids configured for facetime and Imessage but we all use the same itunes account to purchase things.
This means you can buy once and have it on 4 devices (if wanted)
You will need to untick certain options (like sync all music) and highlight which apps and music playlists you want.
