Hi,
We have just sold our house and for personal reasons are going to rent for about 1yr - 18mths. We have made £15,000 on the property which we are keeping for the deposit on our next home. We both struggle to save money so we need to put it somewhere where it cant be taken out everyday (ie on a whim)
Anyone have any ideas? My OH suggested premium bonds but after reading the info i'm not sure its the best way to go

Nationwide 1 year e-bond, 6.11% gross, no withdrawals allowed only closure.0

I would go for NS&I index linked savings certs. No interest until after 1st year & the killer TAX FREE! Good with current high RPI.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
