Faulty bed?

Hi, I bought a divan base with legs and mattress online and it was delivered yesterday. Having slept on it, the mattress seems OK but the base makes a creaking noise when you turn over, which is driving me mad. I feel this is a fault and would like to ask the online company to send me a new base, without any further charge. I would be grateful to hear if other people feel this qualifies as a fault and if I have grounds to make this request? Thanks.
