How would you route a network cable through your house?

    Before you buy any homeplugs, please look outside and see if you have a radio amateur close to you (lots of big aerials).

    If so then please use hard wiring.

    Home plugs chuck out lots of carp on the wiring and it ruins some of the frequencies used by amateurs. My neighbour has them and I have had to give up my plans on having a HF set on my desk because its next to theirs (t'other side of the wall).

    They can also screw up anything that relies on a clean mains supply elsewhere in the house, such as HiFi systems.

    Then get a 3phase supply and dedicate one to the hifi ;)
