I made a purchase from a company with a UK website, everything led me to believe that the company was British. When the payment showed on my credit card it was a Chinese Company. Within 1 month the presentation box housing the watch split, I contacted the company who suggested I pay postage for a replacement box.
Now the watch is losing time and the date does not change at midnight.
I have contacted the Credit Card Company as the product is faulty and I believe, was misleading. It is now over 14 days since I wrote to the Card Company with no acknowledgement at all. I have e-mailed the Company providing the card, but the reply stated that the financial department was separate.
Where do I go from here please?

I've just looked at three credit cards and all have a customer services phone number on the back.0 -

How much was it - was it much cheaper than normal ? What was the website you bought from ?
It's quite possible you bought a fake.0 -
The presentation box? Is it just the box the watch comes in?
If the above is true...the products not faulty just because the box split.0 -
A) What price did you pay? It must be over the threashold for a section 75 claim
b) Have you had a quote for the watch to be repaired? Replacing the mechanism in a quartz watch is typically ~£500
