Christmas Eve - Nightclub hours
Comments
-
My daughter started working in a local nightclub a month or two back. They 'close' at 4am but the staff generally stop on until 5-5:30 cleaning up 'n wotnot as Macca said.0
-
Not miffed at having to work - just trying to find out approx what time my daughter will finish work (she's asked but they will not tell her yet as still in her trial period), so I can pick her up to come home

And very proud of DD getting a job (even if it is in a nightclub):D
Sorry I was just guessing at why someone would ask. I'd be miffed but a younger person would probably enjoy the atmosphere0 -

No need to apologise:) My fault for not explaining properlyy.Or the daughter asks ?
She has done - but as she is on her trial period they won't tell her:(maninthestreet wrote: »Why don't you phone the club in question and ask them? If they have web site/page, their xmas eve opening hours might be on there.
I've looked on thier webpage and facebook page but no mention of opening hours - I might try ringing them - thanks for that suggestion - Can you tell I've had a hard week at work and lost all my brain capacity :rotfl:Light travels faster than sound - that's why you can see someone who looks bright until they open their mouth.0 -
They won't tell her what time her shift will finish? That's madness? What possible reason have they got for keeping it a secret?0

I can't believe night clubs even open on Christmas eve!0
-
Thing is they might be closed at x time but they won't be getting Home until everything is cashed up, collected, cleaned etc
And the possibility for an after party, usually bar staff get free invites to other parties and clubs, I doubt much has changed since I worked in bars and nightclubs.0 -

A lot of people want to party on Xmas eve!If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Down to individual licences. There is nothing preventing a nightclub from being open on Christmas day.0

Christmas Eve used to be my favourite night out back in the day before children. Everyone was in a good mood with Christmas and New Year coming and it was always a fab atmosphere. Much preferred it to New Year Eve. xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
