Cordless phones with wirless router?

Hey all we have just set up wirless cable broadband and it has caused alot of static on the home phones which are cordless.
After some research i think they use the same frequency 2.4GHZ now i cant change my router frequency so any ideas or suggestion for new phones or a fix?

Which router? You should be able to change the frequency used to any one of 13 channels. Have you encrypted the wireless network?:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

You can try changing the channel on the router but usually if the DECT base is far enough from the router or the wireless laptop you should not get any interference.0

I have this problem too. I have tried moving the router and phone base well away from each other without any effect. How do I change the channel. I have a linksys wifi?
UPDATE: I think I've found it in the setup menu.0 -

192.168.1.1
