Recurring fault on TV

Purchased a Samsung TV from Currys. Faulty screen noticed around 9 months after purchase and repaired by Samsung (via Curry's customer services). Same problem has recurred 13 months after purchase.
I have been trying to insist on a refund as the TV is clearly inherently faulty?
Samsung actually changed the entire screen when they repaired it first time and exactly the same problem has recurred. (screen bleeding in top right hand corner).
I dont want it repaired again as - its a faulty model - Curry's are trying to offer me a second repair (although having already changed the entire screen I'm not sure what's left?)
Am I able to insist on a refund as it is a faulty product?
HELP please!
Steve

No you cant insist on a refund.
The retailer has the choice of refund, replace or repair (well actually you can ask for one of those but the retailer can chose an option that does not financially disadvantage it).
Even if you could get a refund you would get the cost minus a "time usage" amount, so the refund would be reduced by that amount.
You would have to prove that the tv had an inherent fault at its manufacture, that means an expert report (probably around £50-80)0 -
Even if Curry's agree that the problem is inherent, you're still not entitled to any more than a repair I'm afraid.0
