Informal job interviews ?

I once went to an informal job interview (in a pub) dressed informally.
The agency who set it up were horrified and I didn't get the job!0 -

If that's what they're after, yes.
Whether formal or informal, it's worth remembering that an interview is simply a discussion between two people about a problem one of them (employer) has, to see how well the prospective employee will solve that problem for them.
What I mean to say is don't think of it as some adversarial "you vs. them" thing, but rather the first of what will hopefully be a number of occasions where you work together with someone towards the same goal.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

Reading on internet some people have said they went for informal chats that were still kind of proper interviews, just in a more relaxed setting.
Do you think even though I don't have a guaranteed interview on Monday yet that I should ask my advisor tomorrow for some advice on preparation for an informal chat/interview ?
Oh come on just use some common sense! Formal or informal it is still an interview. Should be pretty straightforward fir the job you have described0
