Hi there

Would i have to buy a "retail box version" or could i buy OEM version?

Why such a difference in cost?

Many thanks

OEM licences are locked to the first installation. (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
They can never be moved to a new computer and in effect the licence dies with the computer.

Retail ones can be moved to new computers if the old one fails.

OEM shoudl be supplied with a new PC only. Beware of someone selling an OEM thats just downloaded from the net with shared keys that may stop working.

Such a difference in cost because it shouldnt be available for sale on its own and as i mentioned maybe an illegal copy.
