removing hard drive expires warranty???

i bought an acer from tescos in feb and one of my mouse buttons has come loose so would like tescos to repair it
because it has all my work on it can i remove the hard drive while its being fixed without killing off the warranty?many thanks

Back up your important data or make a disc image.0

I aggree with the above posters ,all you need to do is buy an extenal mouse back up your data then send the machine back , depending on the size of the data there is always google docs which'll mean you can access your onfo from internet cafes in the mean time0
