and up pops a Yellow exclamation mark??

Hi

Can anyone help?

Each time I open a new window or tab (IE7) a yellow exclamation mark window pops up in the middle of the screen, it has no writing in it to help identify it, so am at a loss trying to get rid of it.

I know that this indicates a conflict somewhere, but can anyone advise what this might be and how to solve it?

You could try uninstalling it in Add or Remove Programs (this will drop it back to IE6), then reinstalling it. If you need a fresh copy, most PC mag disks will have it or you can download it from here. G

Uninstalled IE7, and even before reinstalling it, I am still getting the same problem.

In that case don't reinstall IE7 just yet. Instead repair IE6 first - click here (& scroll down) if you need to know how. If this works, reinstall IE7. G

Also make sure you have the latest Java http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp it maybe Java script errors

It could also be a browser infection or failed hijack attempt? So if the IE-repair was no help & it's not a Java problem either, head for the MALWARE/SPYWARE REMOVAL GUIDE. G

I have now tried all the above,

and yet still when I open up a window or tab...
