Has anyone with an online business had a call from
www.searchengineeasy.com
This company offer you five search strings which they will put on first page of Google sponsored listings for 89 pounds/month This apparently allows unlimited clickthroughs with no daily caps. They say that because they buy Adwords wholesale they can do this. I credit Martindow with this paragraph in a previous post.
Against my better judgement, after a fairly hard sell on the phone, I just did the 1 month trial for £89 and firstly, I have to admin that my chosen keywords were at the top of Google within a few hours.
Apart from all the adverse publicity on Money Saving Expert, there is something else that didn't add up. On checking Google Analytics, I can see that most of the clicks received on my 5 chosen keywords have a 100% bounce rate. They have all shown pages visited just 1 and a time on the site around a second. Historically, time spent on our site is at least 2 minutes with a minimum of 3 pages visited. I have to wonder if these clicks were genuine.
If anyone else has had a negative experience, let me know, I want to try and get my £89 back.
